Every Body Moves’ Club of The Year nomination
After being awarded Every Body Moves’ Club of the Month” during the Paris Paralympics, Nottingham Casualties Sitting Volleyball Club have been nominated for an even more prestigious award, Every Body Moves‘ Club of the Year!
This award is in recognition for the work the club are doing to raise awareness of sitting volleyball and the local opportunities we are providing for disabled people to get involved in sport. This nomination also came off the back of recent success and recognition, for the club, including:
- Winning a bronze medal at our first international tournament in Copenhagen, against competition that included some national teams.
- Our Club’s Secretary and Head Coach, Steph Fu, receiving the Notts County Captain’s Corner award for her dedication and passion for sitting volleyball.
With the help of our amazing community, Nottingham Casualties became runners-up in Every Body Moves’ Club of the Year vote! We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us to help celebrate the club’s achievements and to champion an inclusive sport for all!
